The National Football League and NFL Players Association agreed on raising the 2022 salary cap from $182.5 million this season to $208.2 million-According to NFL reporter’s Tom Pelissero.
The last year’s cap was 198.2 million, a difference of 10 million from the next year and of 25.7 million of the current season. This raise is due to the fact that in this year the fans were able to access the stadiums-one of the main reasons to increase the salary cap.
One of the advantages of this is that teams are going to be able to spend and players are going to be able to get paid, according to Ian Rapoport.
